Materials and finishes
Top in natural ash veneer with a solid ash edge, so the exposed rim is solid timber rather than a veneer line. Leg frame in manufactured wood with solid ash veneer.
Care and warranty
Dust regularly with a soft, dry cloth and wipe up spills immediately to prevent water marks forming on the natural ash surface. For general cleaning, use a slightly damp cloth then dry thoroughly; never leave moisture sitting on the timber.
Avoid placing in direct sunlight for prolonged periods, as UV exposure can gradually fade and dry natural timber. Use coasters and felt pads beneath objects to protect the surface from scratches and heat marks.

FAQs
Q1: What type of wood and materials are used in this sideboard?
A1: The Kiama sideboard features a top and door fronts finished in a solid natural ash veneer and manufactured wood coated in ash veneer. This combination provides both the natural warmth and texture of ash wood and the stability of engineered base materials.
Q2: What is the size and will it fit my space?
A2: The piece measures 180 cm wide x 42 cm deep x 80 cm high. Before ordering, please check your room’s layout, doorway, lift/stair access, and clearance for manoeuvring the delivery. Keep in mind the packaging size may add extra bulk.
Seek & Ramble
Q3: How much storage space is there and what can I store in it?
A3: With 2 doors plus 3 drawers, the sideboard is designed for versatile storage, ideal for dinnerware, serving vessels, linen, or living-room media gear. Because it sits relatively low (80 cm high) it also acts well as a sideboard under artwork or mirrors.
Q4: What style of interior does this piece suit?
A4: The natural ash finish and clean lines lend themselves to relaxed coastal, Scandinavian-inspired, mid-century modern or transitional interiors. It adds a refined, light, organic anchor to the room while offering functional storage. You could pair it with woven textures, bold upholstery or matte black accents for contrast.
Q5: Is assembly required?
A5: Minimal assembly is required: the legs attach to the frame. The main body is delivered pre-assembled.
Q6: What is the delivery and returns policy?
A6: For this item, delivery within Australia is indicated as “In Stock – Delivery within 2-7 Days”.
We recommend confirming delivery ahead of purchase and checking access/doorways before ordering.
Q7: How should I maintain the natural ash finish?
A7: To maintain the natural ash veneer:
Dust regularly with a soft, dry cloth.
Wipe up spills promptly with a lightly damp cloth, then dry.
Avoid placing in direct sunlight or next to heat sources to minimise fading or warping.
Use protective mats or coasters to avoid scratching or moisture damage from decorative objects.
Q8: Can this piece be used as a TV entertainment unit?
A8: Yes, given its width (180cm) and height (80 cm), it can work as a lowline media or entertainment unit in a living room. Just check the clearance behind the piece for TV cables and consider ventilation if using electronic equipment inside the cabinet.
Q9: Is this product part of a furniture collection?
A9: Yes, this sideboard is part of the “Kiama Furniture Collection” which brings together natural ash finishes, considered proportions and timeless design for everyday comfort and style.
Seek & Ramble
Q10: Is the finish consistent every time I order? Will there be variations?
A10: Because the item uses natural ash veneer, you may notice subtle variation in the wood grain from piece to piece, this is part of the natural beauty of timber veneer and ensures each piece is unique. Colour tones may also vary slightly with lighting and surrounding décor.

Such a beautifully crafted coffee table. It is the perfect size for a statement piece in our home, that also blends seamlessly in with our existing furniture. Very happy with our new purchase, thanks Seek & Ramble! 🛋️☁️✨☕️

A beautiful piece of furniture. Loved it from the minute it was placed in the room. Colours in the timber work perfectly with my timber floors. Love the rounded edges and the unique legs. A good quality unit. Also, the best personalised customer service I’ve ever experienced. James responded to my questions immediately and organised for us to meet at their storage unit so I could get a better idea of the colour of the timber. It was personally delivered by James the day after ordering. They even assembled it and took the packaging away! I highly recommend this company!

While looking for new lounge furniture, we stumbled across the Seek and Ramble website and immediately purchased the Kiama coffee table, later adding the Kiama lowline entertainment unit. These two quality items pair perfectly; the warmth of the light Ash timber veneer beautifully complements the other elements in the room.
Assembly of the bases for both units was simple and straightforward. From the outset, communication from Seek and Ramble was courteous and exceptional. It was a pleasure to receive such personalised service from James, who kept us updated on the delivery progress of the entertainment unit from NSW."

I bought the Kiama entertainment unit and coffee table in December. Seek & Ramble were more than happy to hold the delivery over Christmas until I could take it. Although despatched together, the entertainment unit was delivered first and the coffee table a few days later. On flagging this to Seek & Ramble, Adam promptly called to reassure me he would monitor it but all should be ok. And it was.
The pieces are gorgeous and of superb quality. There is very little assembly (just the legs which is easy) and they look fabulous in the space.
Highly recommend!

Mattia Occasional Armchair Leather Tan
We recently purchased 5 of the Mattia Occasional Armchairs in Tan Leather and couldn't be happier with them. They are incredibly comfortable, with a supportive seat and back. The tan leather is soft, feels high quality, and looks even better in person, adding a warm, stylish touch to the room.
If you're looking for a comfortable, attractive occasional chair, we would highly recommend the Mattia.

Stunning black leather minimalist armchair
Stunning black leather armchair. It’s minimal lines, perfect quality leather and quite easy to move around. Excellent for a small space although it’s quite wide. Loved it so much I bought a second one and they look good together. Amazing value for such a high quality chair. I bought the second one (sale price) because I couldn’t stop thinking about it. Adam so good to deal with.

My new Mattia leather armchair
I love my black leather armchair! It arrived fast and in really good quality wrapping. It’s larger than I thought (I forgot to measure it) but it’s so open and light it fits in perfectly in my small living room. Beautiful quality leather, very well made. I love it! Also Adam is a pleasure to communicate with! Thank you very much, Robbie
