Spot Cleaning

Blot, Don’t Rub: If you spill something, immediately blot the area with a clean, dry cloth. Rubbing can push the stain deeper into the fabric and damage the fibres.
Use a Mild Soap Solution: Mix a small amount of mild dish soap with lukewarm water. Dampen a clean cloth with the solution and gently blot the stain. Avoid soaking the fabric.
Test Before Cleaning: Always test any cleaning solution on a hidden area of the fabric to ensure it doesn’t cause discolouration or damage.
General Maintenance

Vacuum Regularly: Dust and dirt can settle into the fabric fibres, leading to wear over time. Vacuum your upholstered chairs at least once a week using the upholstery attachment.
Rotate Cushions: If your chair has removable cushions, rotate them regularly to ensure even wear and prevent sagging.

Antique White Oak Care Instructions

Wipe with a soft cotton cloth dampened in warm water and mild soap.
Dry immediately with a clean cloth
Avoid harsh cleaners, sprays, or products with silicone or chemicals

Spills & Stains
Wipe spills immediately to prevent marks.
For light stains: use mild soapy water.
For tougher spots: apply a paste of baking soda and water with a soft cloth, then wipe clean.

Maintenance & Re-Oiling
Over time, your finish may dull slightly.
To refresh:
Clean the surface.
Apply L.Co Wax and Polish with a soft cloth.
Let it absorb, wipe off excess, and buff to a soft glow.
Allow to dry overnight before using.

Repairing Scratches
Use L.Co Interior Oil (clear) or L.Co Colour Oil (tinted) for deeper marks:
Clean and dry the area.
Apply oil with a cotton swab.
Wipe or leave for richer colour, then let dry overnight.

Stain Resistance
The finish resists stains for up to 2 hours, but quick cleanup is best to avoid damage.

Long-Term Care
Avoid placing furniture in direct sunlight to prevent fading.
Use coasters, trivets, and placemats to protect from heat and moisture.
Dust regularly with a soft cloth, following the wood grain.
Reapply oil or wax as needed to maintain protection and sheen.
