The Oscar range is made from solid and veneer oak. Wide surfaces such as this table top use a natural oak veneer over an engineered core, which stays flatter and more stable across a 1.3 m span than a single solid slab and gives a more consistent grain across the whole top. The veneer is real oak — it is finished and cared for exactly as the solid timber is. The base is solid oak throughout.
Care and warranty
Keep acidic substances such as lemon juice off the tabletop — they will mark an oiled finish. Use coasters, placemats and felt pads to protect against scratches, heat and rings. Avoid prolonged direct sunlight, which will gradually lighten and dry the timber.
